NBA Star Mo Bamba’s Orlando Penthouse Goes on the Market for $2.9 Million as He Moves to Los Angeles

After being transferred from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers, NBA player Mo Bamba is wrapping up any loose ends in Florida. His Orlando penthouse, listed at $2,879,000, is for sale.

NBA star Mo Bamba advertised his Orlando penthouse for $2,879,000

According to property records and Erin Wanner of Stockworth Realty Group, who represented Mr. Bamba in the transaction, he paid around $1.7 million for the penthouse in downtown Orlando in 2018, two months after being selected by the Magic in the 2018 NBA draft.

“This penthouse is truly a one-of-a-kind, trophy residence on the Orlando real estate market,” Ms. Wanner, who is overseeing the transaction, said. “When Mo bought this unit, he had a vision, and he worked for nearly two years to make that vision a reality.”

Two years were devoted to renovating the penthouse

“He renovated the space artistically with opulent high-end finishes and cutting-edge technology. “Whoever gets to call this penthouse home next is very fortunate, as he has impeccable taste,” she added.

Ms. Wanner stated that the home was designed by Ted Maines Interiors and features custom wall coverings by Phillip Jefferies, light fixtures by Tom Dixon, smart home technology and acoustics from brands including Crestron, Sonance, and Vicoustic, as well as English oak and exotic wood flooring, marble walls, and marble countertops.

The residence is 4,800 square feet in size

According to the listing, the 4,800-square-foot penthouse has three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a formal living room with an integrated resting area, a family room with a 110-inch projector screen, a formal dining room, and a chef’s kitchen.

The residence also features a wraparound terrace with expansive views of the city skyline, according to the listing.
