Having fun! U2’s The Edge and Bono Enjoy the Sun in Ibiza aboard the Yacht “Cyan”

Bono, a member of the band U2, and “The Edge,” the band’s guitarist, were apparently seen enjoying fun on the beaches of Ibiza this week.

The rockers, aged 61 and 60, spent the day swimming and enjoying the waterfront while eating lunch on the beach and sleeping onboard the luxury yachts “Cyan” and “The Edge,” both owned by David Howell Evans.

“Owning a yacht has been my lifelong dream, but to be honest, it’s always seemed a bit out of reach.” Consequently, several close companions and I decided to acquire the Cyan. I am unaware of the origin of the urban legend that Bono owns the company. According to The Edge, he knows absolutely nothing about ships.

In 2008, he and his friends purchased “The Edge,” a yacht that has a current market worth of 16 million dollars, has a length that is slightly longer than 42 meters, has six staterooms, and can accommodate a total of 12 people.

The Cyan has a plethora of lavish amenities, including a swim platform, a deck hot tub, a cutting-edge audio system, a big dining room, and an elegant bar. Codecasa Yachts built her in 1997, and her rental rate ranged between 140,000 and 175,000 euros, depending on the length of the contract at the time.

Morleigh Steinberg, who is married to Edge, was in charge of overseeing the yacht’s whole renovation for a number of months, which included getting a new paint job.
