Rooney, 37, left Derby County last summer to become manager of Major League Soccer’s DC United, where he is preparing for the 2023 season.

He has, however, been connected with a spectacular return to England with Southampton, the Premier League’s lowest club, which may see him return to the family home full-time.

Rooney grew up in a Liverpool council housing, but he has shown his real estate skills by renting out his enormous Barbados villa for £25,000 per week.

In 2007, he also bought a £320,000 waterfront property in Florida’s Sunshine State, as well as a detached home in Liverpool for his parents for £450,000.

He and Coleen currently have real estate holdings all around the world.

Ant and Dec, as well as Roo’s former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand, live on the island’s luxury Jasmine Ridge estate.

Boxer Joe Calzaghe and motorcycle racer Carl Fogarty are among the residents.

Over the years, the lavish Bajan resort has become so popular with Manchester’s rich and famous that its residents have dubbed it the Northern Quarter.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the Rooneys paid £5 million for the property in 2010, but rented it out as a vacation house several years ago.

It will cost roughly £10,000 for United supporters to stay at the Royal Westmoreland mansion over the offseason if they want to live like Wayne.

High season guests may be required to fork over up to £25,410 a week.

The Rooneys may have already made more than £5 million from affluent visitors based on their rental history.

Even if renting was obviously impacted by the epidemic, it won’t be long before they return to the amount they paid for it a decade ago.

Apartment in Florida for £300,000

Not all of Wayne and Coleen’s acquisitions appear to have fared as well as their buy in Barbados.

In 2007, the couple paid roughly £320,000 for a beautiful waterfront apartment at Harbor Pointe in Port Charlotte, Florida, but property prices later fell.

According to the Daily Mail, the pad was purchased through Your Place Abroad, whose previous clientele include footballer Michael Owen and former cricketer Andrew Flintoff.

Following the Rooneys’ acquisition, local real estate values fell precipitously, with some homes losing more than £150,000 of their worth.

Waynesor Castle

The Rooneys had been living blissfully in their £6 million house in Prestbury, Cheshire, for more than a decade when they were the victims of an attempted burglary.

A former serviceman attempted to break in while Wayne was playing in a testimonial match in August 2016, leaving Coleen frightened for the safety of her children.

The Rooneys’ mansion, known as ‘Waynesor Castle,’ reportedly has six en-suite bedrooms, a theater, a Jacuzzi, and a swimming pool. There has even been talk of installing under-lawn heating and opening a hair salon.

‘Beautiful’ Maryland home

The Rooneys were supposed to be moving into a spectacular £12 million Washington, DC mansion in 2018 after Wayne joined DC United, where he is currently the head coach.

The Wesley Heights residence had a wine cellar, a home gym, an outdoor pool, a play area, and even a sizable movie screen.

The family has reportedly moved to Maryland, according to further reports. The distance between them and the American capital was estimated to be 50 minutes by car.

“They live in Maryland, which is quiet, so if they do go out, it’s bowling or the movies with the kids,” a source close to Coleen told SunSport.

“They have a massive house, and it’s beautiful,” they added.

New £20 million Cheshire mansion

The Rooneys’ new home in Cheshire is situated on a 40-acre tract of property.

The £20 million estate contains a number of structures, stables, two artificial fishing lakes, and an orangery.

However, we observed that the luxury new home’s facade has been compared to a Morrisons store and even a Travelodge.

Users on social media have compared the Rooneys’ new home to a supermarket

They’ve compared the house to this Morrisons in Sunderland

“Looks like my local Morrisons supermarket,” one user commented online. “How about £20 million for that?”

“Surely that is a new Tesco construction…?” said another. while another remarked, “More of a Morrisons, I’d say.”

The home contains an underground tunnel that leads to a six-car garage, a TV room, a snooker room, a bar, a wine store, a cinema, a gym, and a swimming pool.

Even two different lifts, one for the family and one for the visitors, can be there.

Wayne, a former England striker, is believed to have asked for a panic room in his house because he worries that another burglary attempt will target his family.
